DRS Defense Solutions announced that its Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) line of business has reached a major milestone in becoming the largest worldwide provider of iDirect Government Technology (iGT) hubs to US Government and defence customers.

iGT satellite hubs allow customers to operate a shared bandwidth platform spanning multiple satellites, bands and transponders while simultaneously supporting a variety of topologies including mesh, star,single channel per carrier (SCPC) and hybrid networks.
