HAL Board reconstituted
The Board of Directors of the Hindustan Aeonautics Limited (HAL) has been reconstituted with effect from April 1, 2015. The Chairman, T. Suvarna Raju, is now re-designated as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD).
The revised structure consists of five whole time directors, including CMD, two government nominee directors and seven independent directors. The current position of Director Human Resources is held by V.M. Chamola and that of Director (Finance) by Dr A.K. Mishra. and S. Subrahmanyan who was Managing Director (MiG Complex) is now Director (Operations). The position of Director Engineering and R&D will be filledup soon.
The posts of Managing Directors have been discontinued. The company now has four Chief Executive Officers (below the board level). They are V. Sadagopan, CEO (Helicopter Complex), R. Kaveri Renganathan, CEO (Bengaluru Complex), Daljeet Singh, CEO, MiG Complex and Rajiv Kumar, CEO, Accessories Complex.
