The desert trials of Arjun Mark II main battle tank (MBT) were carried out in Pokharan, Rajasthan. The MBT, which can fire missiles, is said to have 93 upgrades. The tests, according to sources, will happen on a frequent basis before it is inducted into the Indian Army in 2014.
