Lt General Rakesh Kapoor assumed the appointment of the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff, DCOAS (IS & C) of Indian Army on June 9, 2023.
Prior to assuming this key appointment, he was serving as General Officer Commanding, Desert Corps.
