Government of India has announced on September 21, 2021 the appointment of Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal V.R. Chaudhari as the next Chief of the Indian Air Force. He will assume charge after the retirement of Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria on September 30, 2021.
