Air Force Station Jaisalmer wins "Pride of SWAC trophy"

Another feather was added to Air Force Station Jaisalmer, he premier air base of Indian Air Force under South Western Air Command (SWAC). Being an air base responsible for safeguarding the Western aerospace of the nation, it holds a special place in the national security scenario and now has been awarded the “Pride of SWAC” trophy in the Commanders’ Conference at HQs SWAC, Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The trophy was awarded by Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne, Chief of Air Staff to Air Commodore Chandramouli, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Force Station Jaisalmer in a ceremony during the conference.

Air Commodore Chandramouli, and his wife Shalini Singh, President AFWWA(L) have congratulated all the air warriors, civilians, MES personnel and their families for the achievement. In his message from Gandhinagar, Air Commodore Chandramouli has attributed this achievement to the good work put in by each and every personnel of the station. He added that the credit for this feat goes to the untiring zeal, constant vigil and steady discipline of the personnel which has resulted in an accident free year for the station. He conveyed his good wishes to all air warriors, MES staff and their family members and urged them to continue to do the good work in a tryst to achieve greater heights.
