Cyber security as part of national disaster management plan
The Central Government is planning to include cyber security system in the national disaster management plan. A meeting of top officials including the Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor, three defence chiefs, Atomic Energy Commission Chairman and others deliberated upon the same.
The meeting made several recommendations and one of which was to develop a national cyber alert system (NCAS) to deal with security threats through early warnings and response systems.
