The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at the Indira Gandhi International Airport found a woman carrying a country-made pistol in her check-in baggage. The woman, identified as Vandana Kaushal, was produced in a court and was granted bail for a surety of Rs. 10,000.
Security officials at the airport recently found the pistol and a live cartridge in her baggage and she was not able to produce any valid documents. She was taking a flight to Mumbai. A case under Arms Act has been registered against her.
