A small drone which landed on the roof of the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s office is being investigated. The Prime Minister was away on a visit to Indonesia. There have been no reports of any untoward incident.
Police investigations are on to figure out how the drone landed on the rooftop, escaping the attention of security personnel. Television footages showed security personnel around the drone which was wrapped in a blue tarp. The drone is about 50 centimetres (1.7 feet) in diameter and had four propellers, carrying a small camera and something that looked like a flare. It was also decorated with a symbol that warns of radioactive material.
