NASSCOM and CBI join hands to fight cyber crime
The Data Security Council of India (DSCI) of NASSCOM has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to deal with issues of cyber security. The MoU seeks to establish collaboration between law enforcement agencies through Cyber and Hi-Tech Crime Investigation and Training (CHCIT) Centre of the CBI and the IT industry through NASSCOM.
As per the MoU, the two will share knowledge on emerging technologies, security standards, best practices of global security agencies, and challenges in managing cyber crime and then come up with solutions.
