ManTech bags contract from DHS

November 16-30, 2011

ManTech International has received a US Department of Homeland Security contract for continued information technology services in support of the Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technology (SAFETY) Act of 2002. It is a programme that provides legal liability protections for providers of anti-terrorism products and services. ManTech said the contract is worth $5.9 million and has a base period of performance of one year and three option years.

“We are proud to continue supporting (Homeland Security’s) mission to administer the SAFETY Act,” said L. William Varner, President and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions Group.
