Satpura, Indian Navy’s second indigenous stealth frigate to be commissioned soon

August 01-15, 2011New Delhi

Satpura, the second Shivalik class indigenous stealth frigate, will soon be a part of the Indian Navy missions. Conceived and designed by the Indian Naval Design team to be the mainstay frigates of Indian Navy for the first half of 21 century, the ship is scheduled to be commissioned on August 20, 2011 at Mumbai. Defence Minister A.K. Antony will do the honours.
