BEML Bagged Raksha Mantri Award
BEML Limited A Defence Public Sector Undertaking received Raksha Mantri Award for Excellence -' Raksha Srijan Ratn' 2021-22 in the category of Indigenisation/ Import Substitution Under Large Scale Enterprise.
At a special function held at DefExpo 2022, Gandhi Nagar Amit Banerjee, CMD BEML received the award from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in presence of Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State for Defence, Lt Gen R.K. Malhotra, Director General (DGQA). A.K. Srivastav, Director (Defence Business), BEML also present on this occasion.
The award is for BEML designed and developed Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) in co-ordination with CVRDE and equipment is totally made in-house without any foreign collaboration.
In true reflection of 'Make in India" concept,BEML made ARV Tanks, can recover and repairs of Main Battle Tanks in the field.
